Get ready for a weekend of sun, fun, and outdoor adventure!
The Moraine State Park Regatta returns to Lake Arthur on Saturday, August 1st and Sunday, August 2nd, 2026. Admission, parking, and all core activities are completely free, making it the perfect affordable summer outing for families and friends alike.
The Moraine State Park Regatta has become a beloved regional tradition, drawing outdoor enthusiasts from across Western Pennsylvania to celebrate the beauty of our natural surroundings. This year’s event features an expansive and diverse range of attractions, ensuring there is something for everyone:
- Water Recreation: Attendees can try sailing, kayaking, fishing, and stand up paddleboarding. Instruction including equipment is all free of charge, but waiver signatures are required on site.
- Land Recreation: Throughout the weekend, try archery, hiking, disc golf, and yoga.
- Races: There will be three races, the Moraine Regatta 5k, Paddlesport Race, and the inaugural Open Water Swim. Register on the regatta’s website.
- Live at Lake Arthur Live Music: Enjoy live music performances throughout the weekend, showcasing local talent with a Butler County Symphony Orchestra finale.
- Lake Arthur Lily Pad Children’s Area: Families can delight in a variety of children’s activities. All activities in this area are free with provided equipment and instruction.
- Vendors: Over 30 vendors featuring high-quality items and services that align with outdoor recreation, natural history, and environmental stewardship.
- Car Cruise: Bring your classic car and the first 50 cars each day will receive a dash plaque. Donations are accepted but there is no cost to participate.
- Fireworks: Fireworks will be Saturday night, August 1st around 9PM.
