Robert Lodovico, 98

Robert Lodovico, 98, of Ellwood City, passed away on June 9th, 2026 at the Good Samaritan Hospice House in Wexford.

Robert was born on May 20th, 1928 in Ellwood City to the late Domonick and Assunta (Bettoni) Lodovico. He attended Lincoln High School as well as the Terrace School of Craftsman in New Castle. Robert worked for Cerianni Construction as a Union Carpenter Supervisor for many years. Robert served in the U.S. Navy, specifically on the Destroyers; U.S. Gyatt and the U.S.S. John W. Weeks., he was honorably discharged as a Seaman, First Class. He was a member of Divine Grace Parish, Holy Redeemer Church and the United Brotherhood of Carpenters #420. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially attending ball games and the many social activities that they were involved in. Robert was the last surviving sibling of his family. He will be remembered also by his love for listening to Tony Bennett and Frank Sinatra.

He is survived by his daughter, Susan (Joseph) Corcoran of North Fort Myers, FL, son, Robert (Shirley) Lodovico of Ellwood City, son-in-law, Mark (Linda) Conti of Beaver Falls, grandchildren, Steven (Lacey) Lodovico, Rhonda (Neal) Lucas, Kierstan (Mark Ridenour) Lynch, Kevin (Jackie) Conti, and April Ann (Jeremy) Dean, great-grandchildren, Marley Rivera, Kayleigh Maltby, Aislynn Lynch, Ahnella Lucas, Rocco Lodovico, Gia Lodovico, Nina Lodovico, Adelynn Dean , Allison Dean, Ryan Conti, and Emily Conti and great-great grandchildren, Audrey Rivera, Isabella Rivera, and Grayson Maltby. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Diana V. (LaPenta) Lodovico whom he married on November 19th, 1949 and passed away on January 13th, 2003, son Steven Lodovico in 1978, daughter, Diana Conti in 2007, sister Anna Lodovico in infancy and brother, Louis G. Lodovico.

As per Robert’s wishes, services will be private. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. Interment will be at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery. Memorial donations in Robert’s name can be made out to the Riverside Baseball Federation, in care Steven Lodovico at 724-674-0868.
