The Ellwood City Area Public Library offers a variety of weekly activities. Information is available by calling the library at 724-758-6458.
HOURS
Hours are Monday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Please remember no one is available to take your calls unless it is in the hours listed above.
Activities taking place this week include.
MONDAY, MAY 11
- 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
TUESDAY, MAY 12
- 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
- 7:00 p.m. – “Twenty-Something Book Group,” will be discussing the book “The Sunbearer Trials” by Aiden Thomas on Zoom.
WEDNESDAY, MAY 13
- 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
- 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. – “Tween and Teen After School Club,” come and socialize and do activities while eating a snack.
- 5:00 p.m. – “Movie Night for Adults,” popcorn and drinks provided. Call the library to see what is showing or come in and pick up our Movie Schedule.
THURSDAY, MAY 14
- 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
- 2:00 p.m. – “Afternoon Book Group for Adults,” will be discussing the book “The Jackal’s Mistress” by Chris Bohjalian.
FRIDAY, MAY 15
- 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. – “Coloring for Adults,” bring your own supplies or use ours.
- 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. – “Adult Knitting Group,” work on your own individual projects while socializing with other knitters.
SATURDAY, MAY 16
- 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. – “Touch – A – Truck” The library block will be blocked off to display different kinds of trucks and vehicles. Local food trucks will be available to purchase food and drink.

Friday May 29 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., – Adult Magic Show in the program room at the Library. Tickets are $20 each and sold at the Library. Light refreshments will be provided.
