James E. “Jim” Wright, 84, of Franklin Township was taken into the Loving arms of his Lord on Wednesday, April 1st, 2026 at Allegheny General Hospital. A special thank you to everyone who took care of Jim for their kind and compassionate care.
Jim was born on September 29th, 1941 in Perry Township to the late Clarence and Stella (Weil) Wright.
Jim was well known for being a hard worker. From his life growing up on the family farm, he was no stranger to hard work. Jim attended Lincoln High School until the 11th grade when he left to pursue his working career. He worked at Hazen’s Dairy at a young age, he then got a job at Standard Steel Specialty in Beaver Falls, PA where he worked for 41 years until his retirement. Jim worked several positions with Crane Operator being his favorite. During this time, he started his own business as Owner/Operator of Wright’s Hauling, which he ran for over 50 years until he retired in 2023. Jim enjoyed the comradery he had with his customers, with some becoming regulars over the years. Jim had attended Lillyville Church of God.
The most important thing in Jim’s life was his family and the time he spent with them.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Lorraine and Scott (Jim’s Buddy) Silvester, his son Keith Wright and wife Debbie, along with several nieces and nephews as well as great and great-great nieces and nephews.
