Romance was in the air with Valentine’s Day last month. Many fell in love with a new home in February and made a move.

According to Redfin.com, the median sale price of a home in Lawrence County was $149,000 last month, up 29.6% since last year. The median sale price per square foot in Lawrence County is $108, up 20.0% since last year.  More specifically, the Ellwood City housing market is somewhat competitive with the median sale price of a home in Ellwood City listed at $95,000 last month, down 29.3% since last year. The median sale price per square foot in Ellwood City is $134, up 92.8% since last year.
