Mr. Samuel Fotia, 86, of Ellwood City passed away on Saturday, October, 11th, 2025 at Quality Life Services in New Castle.
Mr. Fotia was born in Ellwood City on May 1st, 1939 to the late Frank and Josephine (Barillaro) Fotia. He is a member of the Lincoln High School class of 1957 and the Divine Grace Parish, Holy Redeemer Church. Sam was the co-owner and operator of JoMar Manufacturing and Fotia Brothers Draperies in Ellwood City along with his brother Joseph. He enjoyed spending time with his family, woodworking, stone masonry, and using all sorts of tools.
Sam is survived by his wife Joyce (DeCecio) Fotia whom he married on April 23rd, 1960, daughters, Kimberly (Fotia) Heller of Meadville and Joy (Kevin) DeOtto of Ellwood City, sons, Sam Fotia and Joe (Lisa) Fotia both of Ellwood City, grandchildren, Casey (Miles) O’Shea, Lindsay (Toby) Cressman, Ethan Fotia and his fiancée Katie Eustice, Alex Fotia, Gianna Fotia, and Santino DeOtto, three great-grandchildren, sister, Anna Marie Fotia of Ellwood City, sister-in-law, Shirley Fotia also of Ellwood City, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, in-laws, Andrew and Josephine DeCecio, and brothers, Vincent and his wife Joan Fotia, Joseph and his wife Martha Fotia, and Ralph Fotia.
A private Blessing Service will be held for the family at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc.. Interment will be at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
