Ronin F. Costa, 66

Ronin F. Costa, 66, of Pittsburgh passed away on Sunday, July 13th, 2025 at his residence.

Ronin was born on March 17th, 1959 in Ellwood City to the late Thomas P. and Isabella (D’Ambrosia) Costa Sr.. He had graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1977 and later from Point Park College. Recently Ronin was working for Optum Services Inc. as a Senior Medical Coder. He loved listening to all types of music and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates and Penguins fan.

He is survived by his companion, Jimmy Thomas of Pittsburgh, sisters, Florence (Joseph) Santillo and Mary (Anthony) DeCaria both of Wayne Township, sister-in-law, Debbie Costa of Fombell, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his two brothers, Thomas P. Costa Jr. and Samuel Costa.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, July 24th, 2025 from 10:00 am until the time of the mass of Christian burial at 11:00 am at Divine Grace Parish, Holy Redeemer Church.

Memorial contributions in Ronin’s name may be made to; Divine Grace Parish Social Services.

The funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc..

    Rico’s (he was called Rico by his friends) partner Jimmy died about ten years ago.
