Ann L. Patrizio, 94, of Ellwood City passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 in the Ellwood City Hospital.
Ann was born on July 20, 1921 in West Pittsburgh to the late John and Anna Sinkovitch Winter. Ann graduated from New Castle High School with the class of 1939. During World War II, Ann worked at the U.S. Steel Tube Mill, and later at Shenango Pottery. She is a member of the Holy Redeemer Parish, and enjoyed cooking.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann Patrizio of Ellwood City, her sister, Kathryn Newton of Ellwood City, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James F. Patrizio whom she married on Sept. 16, 1950 and passed away on March 27, 2008, her sisters, Dorothy “Dee” Newton, Rose Kriegisch, and two in infancy, and her brothers, Michael and Steven Winter.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Services. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. in the Holy Redeemer Church. Interment will follow at the Locust Grove Cemetery. Those attending the funeral mass are asked to meet at the funeral home on Friday by 9:20 a.m.
