Sandra L. York, 66

Mrs. Sandra L. York, 66, of Edinburg passed away at her residence on Thursday, June 12th, 2025.

Mrs. York was born on May 2nd, 1959 in Ellwood City the daughter of the late Richard and Nancy J. (Lample) Husing. She is a member of the Lincoln High School class of 1977 and attended the Lillyville Church of God. Sandra worked as a manger at Four Seasons Flea Market in Youngstown and as a supervisor at Walmart in Union Township. Her passions where going to casinos, playing bingo, hunting, gardening, cooking, baking, and most of all time spent with her family.

She is survived by her daughter Sandy Freed and her fiancé Ryian Walters with whom she resided, her sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Amber York of Howland, Ohio and David and Jennifer York of Struthers, Ohio, 17 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren with 2 on the way. She is also survived by her sisters, Nancy Stifler of Edinburg, Dicksie (Frank) Work of Princeton, and Connie Lauderbaugh of Ellwood City, and her brothers, Michael Husing of Perry Township and Richard (Corinne) Husing of Wayne Township.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, David J. York whom she married in 1983 and passed away in 2007, her sister, Marcie Jeffries, her brother, Donald Husing, and her brother-in-law, John Paul “Butch” Stifler.

Following Sandra’s wishes there will not be a public service. The final arrangements are entrusted to the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc..
