Mr. Cecil D. Miller, 79, of Ellwood City passed away on Friday, June 13th, 2025 at the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Mr. Miller was born in Ellwood City on March 31st, 1946 to the late W. Cecil and Pearl (Duncan) Miller. He had graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1964. Cecil had worked for U.S. Steel in Ellwood City for 10 years, owner and operator of Miller Printing which was located on Fifth St. in Ellwood City for 10 years, the Ellwood City Forge for 10 years, and Badger Industries until retiring in 2014. He also had served as the Pastor for the Cornerstone Church in New Castle for 20 years. An outdoorsman he loved fishing, gardening, and cooking.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Amalong) Miller whom he married on January 1st, 1977, daughters, Cheryl Sigler and Tracy (Pat) Johnson, son, Matthew Miller all of Ellwood City, 8 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
Cecil was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Catherine Stratton, Pearl Brown, and Janice McClymonds, and his brothers, Charles “Bud” Long and William Miller.
A memorial service in Cecil’s honor will be held at a later date. The funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc..
