Rose Marie DeNome, 76

Mrs. Rose Marie DeNome, 76, of Ellport passed away on Thursday, May 23rd, 2024 at her residence.

Mrs. DeNome was born on February 26th, 1948 in Ellwood City to the late Lawrence J. and Constance (Larry) Crespo Sr.. She is a member of the Lincoln High School class of 1966 and the Divine Grace Parish, Holy Redeemer Church. For many years Rose worked for the Ellwood City Area School District first as a Building Clerk and then as the Elementary Principle’s Secretary. She enjoyed watching The Young and The Restless, going to casino’s, and most of all time spent with her family.

She is survived by her husband John DeNome whom she married on June 19th, 1971, her sisters and brothers-in-law Connie and Fred Berendt of Niles, Ohio, Barbara and Victor Pogozelec of The Villages, Florida, Grace and Joseph Stiles Jr. of Ellwood City, and Lisa and Geno Thomas of Franklin, PA, her brother and sister-in-law Lawrence J. “Larry” and Terry Crespo Jr. of North Sewickley Township, and numerous nieces and nephews and their children.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, May 28th, 2024 from 3:00 pm until the time of the Blessing Service at 5:00 pm at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. with Father Jim Wehner officiating. Inurnment will be at the Locust Grove Cemetery.

    She was always pleasant, overly helpful and my biggest support at work ..
    will miss you dearly
