Myron Dellinger, 72

Myron Dellinger, 72, of Ellwood City, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024 at UPMC Shadyside.

Born in Lincolnton, North Carolina on July 19, 1951, Myron was the son of the late Bernice J. Dellinger and Dorothy L. Murphy Vandine.  Myron is survived by his wife, the former Karen Ann Metrocavige, whom he married on March 17, 1989.  He owned and operated MAK Heating & Cooling in Ellwood City for over forty years.  An avid outdoorsman, Myron enjoyed hunting and fly fishing and was a member of the Ellwood -Wampum Rod and Gun Club.  He also enjoyed leatherworking and his Harley.  Myron cherished his wife and his family and the time they spent together.

Besides his wife, Karen Ann Dellinger, Myron is survived by his four children; Christy (George) Sero of Beaver Falls, Shannon (Rick) Durbin of Ellwood City, Kelly (Mark) Allen of New Castle and Brian (Kim) Seeger of Ellwood City, two brothers, Thais Dellinger and Lynn (Linda) Dellinger, both of North Carolina, eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Myron was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Dellinger and step-father, Richard Vandine.

A Celebration of Myron’s Life will be held at a later date to be announced by his family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory.
