Mary C. Yerace, 87, of Ellwood City passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2016 in the Evergreen Nursing Center.
Mary was born on Nov. 5, 1928 in Ellwood City to the late Pietro and Carmen DeJonghe. She had attended Lincoln High School, and is a member of the Christian Assembly Church. Mary had worked at Ellwood Dustproof, and then as a cook for Mary’s Pizza, IMB Frays and JoAnn McNutt’s Catering Service. She was an avid Pittsburgh Sports fan, and mostly enjoyed being with her grandchildren.
Mary is survived by her sons, Robert Yerace, and Raymond (Missy) Yerace both of Ellwood City, her grandchildren, Judd Musguire, Jordan Musguire, Matthew Musguire, Justin Yerace, Samantha Yerace, and Erica Yerace, her three great-grandchildren, her sisters, Joann Kerner of Sacramento, Calif. and Madeline Lendick of Ellwood City, her brothers, Joseph (Mary) Magliocca of Youngstown, Pete Magliocca of New Castle, Frank Magliocca of Oregon, George Magliocca of Grass Valley, Calif., and Fred (Nancy) Magliocca of Paradise, Calif., along with many nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by her son-in-law, Jerry Musguire of New Galilee.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Albert J. Yerace whom she married on Sept. 15, 1947 and passed away on March 11, 1992, her daughter, Renee Musguire, her son, Richard Yerace, and her brothers, Tony, Chuck, and Ralph Musguire.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 3 p.m. until the time of the service at 7 p.m. in the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Services with Rev. Cindy Antinossi officiating. Interment will be at the Locust Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Yerace’s family would like to thank the Evergreen Nursing Center for the wonderful care they gave to her.
