Kimberly Sue Lordi, 51

Kimberly Sue Lordi, 51 of Evans Drive, Ellwood City passed away at her residence on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. surrounded by her family.

Born in Ellwood City on March 29, 1965, Kim was the daughter of the Harry James and Judith Lynn Johnston Guy of Ellwood City. Kim is also survived by her husband, Domenic “D. J.” Lordi whom she married on Sept. 30, 1989. Kim graduated from Lincoln High School in 1983 and received her associate’s degree in nursing from CCBC. She was a Registered Nurse who started working at the Ellwood City Hospital in 1988.

She later worked at West Penn Hospital and Heritage Valley Medical Center. Kim enjoyed nature and the outdoors, the beach, running and entertaining friends and family. She loved spending time with her husband, D.J., and her children.

Besides her parents and husband, Kim is survived by her five children, Elliot Lordi, Tatum Lordi, Ethan Lordi, Carson Lordi and Carter Lordi all at home, her dog, Rodger and cat, Chang, two sisters, Melissa Guy and Michael Engelhard of Fairbanks, Ark. and Amy Guy of Los Angeles, two brothers, Randolph Guy of Ellwood City and Thomas Guy and Farah Raqib of Portland, Ore. and several nieces and nephews.

Kim was preceded in by her grandparents, a nephew, Daniel Bartolomeo, and a niece, Joie Lordi.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Cliff Reynolds of Word Alive Church.

Friends may call at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory on Saturday, April 30, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Contributions can be made in Kim’s name to UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh or the American Cancer Society.
