Ellwood Boys Track Team Comes Close to Mohawk

The Ellwood City boys track team came up close to Mohawk in a home meet yesterday, losing 76-74. However, several Ellwood athletes grab first places, including Billy Lott in both the 800 and 1600 meter runs and River Kelly in the javelin and discus throws.

For the girls, the meet was a 115-35 loss. Taylor Petrak won the 300 meter hurdles and participated in a winning 4×100 meter relay with Mia DeCaria, Alena Battaglia and Karrington Ketterer.
