Cynthia A. “Cindy” Molfetto, 68, of Ellwood City passed away at Avalon Place in New Castle on Thursday, October 26th, 2023.
Cynthia was born in Ellwood City on April 1st, 1955 to the late Felix E. and Christine G. (Sera) Casciato. She is a member of the Lincoln High School class of 1974 and the Divine Grace Parish, Holy Redeemer Church. For 30 years she worked at Passavant Retirement Community as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Cindy enjoyed time spent with family and friends especially with her granddaughter, dancing, hallmark Christmas movies, and gift giving.
She is survived by her daughter Kylie (Dan) Freed of Perry Twp., granddaughter Rhiannon Boone, brother Edward (Debbie) Casciato of Ellwood City, daughter-in-law Jody Weir of New Castle, and her special friends Lorraine and Buzz.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her son Jared Boone in 2007.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4-7 pm at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc.. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday at Divine Grace Parish , Holy Redeemer Church at 10:00 am with Father Joseph Freedy officiating. Interment will be at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
