Mrs. Connie Marie Markovich, 62, of Beaver passed away on Wednesday, August 16th, 2023 at the Heritage Valley Medical Center.
Connie was born in Pittsburgh on December 16th, 1960 the daughter of the late Anthony and Nellie (Wilcox) Mazzant. She graduated from Riverside High School with the class of 1980. In the past, Connie had worked as a caretaker for the former B.V.M. Church. Presently she is a member of the Divine Grace Parish, Holy Redeemer Church. Connie was an avid animal lover, and loved time spent with her parrot Elvis. She also enjoyed seasonal holidays and spending time with family.
She is survived by her son Brian Markovich and his fiancé Taylor Meyers of Franklin Twp., brothers Robert (Patsy) Mazzant of North Sewickley Twp. and Anthony “Bud” Mazzant of Franklin Twp., nieces Shannon, Julie, and Erin Mazzant, and nephew Eric Mazzant. She is also survived by her good friend Kim Long and her parrot Elvis.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Steve P. Markovich Jr. whom she married on July 26th, 1986 and passed away on June 2nd, 2021, and her sister Gloria Mazzant.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday, August 26th, 2023 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at which time prayers will be offered at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc.
