Raymond A. Christy, Jr., 75, of Beaver Falls, passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at St. John’s Specialty Care Center in Mars.
Born in Butler on February 3, 1948, Raymond was the son of the late, Raymond A. and Grace Helen Thompson Christy. Raymond was a contractor and later worked as a truck driver. He was a veteran of the Army and served in Vietnam. Raymond was a member of the Order of the Owls in Beaver Falls.
Surviving are Raymond’s four children, Thomas (Christine) Christy of Butler, Raena Leasure of Karns City, Raymond (Rachel) Christy of West Sunbury and Jeannie (Jeremy) Kradel of West Sunbury, two sisters, Janet Christy of Saxonburg and Mary (Kenneth Schwartz) McCulloch of Wampum, 18 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, William and Richard Christy and two sisters, Sara Hockenberry and Alberta Gladd.
Friends may call at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport on Saturday, August 26, 2023 from 10 AM until the time of the Service at noon with Rev. Todd Custer.
Inurnment will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, PA.
