Michael’s Furniture Plus, conducted a very successful charitable promotion this year that resulted in an impressive amount of money being donated to a great cause.
Michael’s pledged to donate $50.00 to the Club Hope Foundation for every Ellwood City Varsity Football touchdown scored this season. The Ellwood City team did their part and scored 22 touchdowns this year and Michael’s was happy to donate $1,100.00 to the Club Hope Foundation.
The store is owned and operated by many former Ellwood City Football players and boosters.
The owner, Michael Perry, said he was proud to tie this charitable promotion to the success of the team.
Perry went on to say “The only way the campaign worked was if the team was scoring a lot and we were so happy with their great production”.
Michael’s wanted to give a special thanks to the Internet Live-Streaming Crew led by Thad Sturgeon, as they do a great job broadcasting the games. They really promoted the campaign, which created a great deal of buzz in the community.
“We thank everyone who supports Michael’s Furniture Plus as they allow us to be able to give back to the community and we are truly honored to be in that position” said Perry.
