Donald L. Caplinger, 69 of Ellwood City passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021 at UPMC Jameson.
Born in New Brighton on April 22, 1952, Donald was the son of the late Floyd and Mildred Pepsic Caplinger. Donald had retired as a mechanic at Sim’s Lanes in Koppel. An avid Pittsburgh Penguin, Steeler and Pirate fan, Don also enjoyed fishing, gardening and tinkering around the house.
Don is survived by his sons, Justin (Augusta) Caplinger of Ellwood City and Josh Caplinger of Beaver Falls, 2 grandchildren, Christian and Alivia Caplinger, a sister, Jean McAnallen of Ellwood City and 2 brothers, Jim Caplinger of Ellwood City and Floyd Caplinger of McDonald, PA.
Besides his parents, Don was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Baney.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory.
