Mrs. Patricia A. Cavanaugh, 80, formerly of North Sewickley Township, passed away peacefully on October 23rd, 2021 at the Providence Care Center in Beaver Falls.
Mrs. Cavanaugh was born on July 18th, 1941 in Ligonier, Pennsylvania to the late Vance and Edna Mae (Shaffer) Clark. She graduated from Monaca High School with the class of 1960 and was a member of the Rock Christian Fellowship in Rochester. Mrs. Cavanaugh was part of Paul and Pat and the Young Inspirations Christian band as a pianist and singer, in the 70’s and 80’s.
She is survived by her daughter, Marcy Shaffer and her fiancé Dino Rizos of North Sewickley Township, her grandchildren, Danielle (Travis) Iddings, Jason Bowker, and Stephanie (Justin) Stivason, and her great-grandchildren, Riley, Milla, Camden, Paisley and Killian Iddings, and Elliot Stivason.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Paul Cavanaugh whom she married on June 10th, 1960 and passed away on June 11th 2013, her son, Pastor Terry Cavanaugh, her sister, Blanche Weitershausen and her brother-in-law, Leon Weitershausen.
As per Mrs. Cavanaugh’s wishes there will be no public visitation or service. Final arrangements have been entrusted to the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc..
