Club Hope Foundation founder Cara Atkinson has been nominated and chosen for the top of of the 2021 Woman of Courage Award through the Pink Pamper Foundation.
This award is given yearly at the Pink Pamper’s Annual Bubble Ball, which will be held this year on Friday, October 8th at the Doubletree Hotel in Cranberry. The nominees were selected by a committee through the Pink Pamper non-profit and the winner is selected through a system of voting online.
Atkinson was nominated by a survivor that the Club Hope Foundation assisted from our area.
According to Atkinson, the letter was so touching and no matter what the outcome she feels truly honored to even be nominated and chosen in the top five finalists.
“The work we do, the people I’ve met, and the amazing people that have gone from strangers to family by joining our Club Hope Foundation family is all I need,” says Atkinson. “I cannot thank our town enough for the overwhelming support we continue to receive, my family for going above and beyond to help Club Hope be what it is today, especially my husband Jon and my sons Jace and Cooper for all they work they put in the support they give me daily, and our Lord Jesus for planting this mission in my heart!! I’m blessed beyond words and that means more than any award I could ever receive.”
