Margaret H. Perrone, 91

Mrs. Margaret H. Perrone, 91, of Ellwood City passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021 at Northview Estates.

Mrs. Perrone was born on February 24, 1930 in Ellwood City to the late Andrew and Barbara (Paylo) Mastilak. She had graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1948. Margaret had worked at Mine Safety and Romar Textile. She is a member of the Holy Redeemer Parish and the Holy Redeemer Christian Mothers. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Margaret will be dearly missed by all and will be remembered for her passion of cooking and entertaining for her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Perrone whom she married on September 2, 1950, daughters, Barbara Snedeker of Columbia, IL and Janet (John) Benedict of Midland, grandchildren, Justin (Kelli) Benedict, Jocelyn Benedict and her fiance’ Van Sage, Lauren (Denny) Sellers, and Christopher Snedeker, and great-grandchildren, Ryan and Alexis Benedict, Emma Weaver, and Ava Sellers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Ann Price and Mary Mahan, and brothers, John, Mike, Andy, George, and Steve Mastilak.

Family and friends are invited to a mass of Christian burial to be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am at the Holy Redeemer Church with Father Mark Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at the Locust Grove Cemetery. Members of the Holy Redeemer Christian Mothers are asked to meet at the church on Tuesday by 10:50 am to form an honor guard. The funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc..

Memorial contributions in Mrs. Perrone’s name may be made to the Ladies of Charity.
