Mary Ann (Pisano) Sirimarco, 76, formerly of Ellwood City, passed away Monday, June 29, 2020 at Crandall Medical Center, Sebring, Ohio, after a lengthy illness.
Born September 17, 1943 in New Brighton, she was the daughter of the late William and Irene (Nemeth) Pisano. She married her beloved husband Samuel F. “Sparky” Sirimarco on August 10, 1968. They enjoyed 40 years of marriage together before his death in 2008. A 1961 graduate of Lincoln High School, Mary Ann was employed as a travel agent with AAA for 27 years, retiring in 2013. She was a long-time member of Corona D’Italia Lodge 807, where she served in several different capacities as an officer. Mary Ann was a member of Holy Redeemer Parish, Ellwood City, and was a member of Christian Mothers. She was an excellent cook and seamstress, and enjoyed bowling, traveling and spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mary Ann was preceded in death by her second mother, Rose Pisano; sister and brother-in-law Margaret and Jack Pegg; brothers Aldo and Duilio Bonazza; and brother and sister-in-law Ronald and Margaret Pisano.
Surviving are her three children, Joseph Sirimarco of Bellevue WA, Samuel D. Sirimarco of Tucson AZ, and Christine (Joel) Nelson of Alliance OH; three grandchildren, Victoria, Daniel and Anna Nelson; sister-in-law Clemmy Sirimarco of Alliance OH; sisters Silvia Pavlovic, Beaver Falls, Mary Jo (Thomas) Sobona, Koppel, and Ruth (Russel) Tate, Koppel; brothers Joseph (Sally) Pisano of Hubbard OH, Richard (Judy) Pisano of Imperial MO, and Angelo (Judy) Pisano, Ellwood City; sister-in-law Jane Bonazza, Beaver Falls; and numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, July 3, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Holy Redeemer Church with Father Mark L. Thomas. Interment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery.

The family wishes to thank the many caregivers and team members throughout Crandall Medical Center who cared for Mary Ann during her illness. Mary Ann was cared for with dignity, compassion, tenderness and excellence in every way, and we are deeply, deeply grateful for all that was done for her.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Ave., Ellport.
