Mrs. Winnie Stiles, 97, of Perry Twp. passed away on Monday, January 20, 2020, at her residence.
Mrs. Stiles was born on July 17, 1922, in Berwinsdale, Pa to the late Edward and Marie (Bloom) Johns, Sr. She had graduated from Coalport High School. For 20 years she worked at Dom’s IGA in Ellwood City in the meat department. She enjoyed flowers, bird watching, and most of all being with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Cynda (Jeff) Wehman of Perry Twp. and Ginger (Jim) Reilly of Ellwood City, her son, Joseph E. (Grace) Stiles, Jr. of Perry Twp. her grandchildren, Thomas (Carla) Wehman, Joe, (Trisha) Stiles III, Jennifer (Ben) Aiken, Jamie (Jim) Wright, Chad (Casey) Reilly, and Brian (Rebekah) Stiles, and her fourteen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Colleen (Charles) Shepson of Ft. Myers, FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Joseph E. Stiles Sr. whom she married in 1945 and passed away in 1965, her second husband, Robert A. Tilkey whom she married in 1995 and passed away in 2015, her son, Timothy A. Stiles in 2015, her sisters, Betty Walker and Theo Cusato, and her brother, Edward Johns, Jr.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 3:00 pm until the time of the Service at 5:00 pm at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. with Pastor James O’Hara officiating. Interment will be at the Locust Grove Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
