Shane J. Rusnock, 27

Shane J. Rusnock, 27, of Franklin Township, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2019 in Orange County California.

Born in Pittsburgh on July 1, 1991, Shane is the son of John S. and Terri S. Moser Rusnock.  A 2009 graduate of Riverside High School, Shane played baseball, basketball and soccer.  He attended IUP majoring in finance.  Shane had worked at Fedex in Cranberry Township.

Shane is survived by his parents, John and Terri Rusnock of Franklin Township, his brothers, Brandon J. Rusnock of Cranberry Township and Eric M. (Mandy) Rusnock of Zelienople, a niece and nephew, Colt and Cory Rusnock, his grandparents, Melvin and Diane Moser of Portersville and his Godparents, Jerry and LouAnne McClintick of Ellwood City.

Shane was preceded in death by his grandparents, John J.  and Rose Marie Sulia Rusnock and his aunt, Melissa “Mickey” Rusnock.

Friends will be received on Saturday, July 6 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport.  A Memorial Service will take place at the funeral home following the visitation at 4:00 PM with Rev. Doctor Robert J. Guy, Jr. of Wurtemburg Presbyterian Church.

Family requests in lieu of flowers, that memorial contributions can be made in memory of Shane to the donor’s favorite charity.

    John, Terri, Brandon, Eric and family. Our hearts are so heavy from hearing this sad news. We did not hear until today and that was just by chance. Please know that our love goes out to all of you to get through this terrible time. Your love for Shane was so strong and that is what will help you. We are here for you at any time.
