Robert Dale McCullough, 64

Mr. Robert Dale McCullough, 64, of New Brighton went to join his hunting partner in Heaven, his brother Dave, on Thursday, October 25, 2018.

Robert was born on July 3, 1954 in Ellwood City to the late Robert D. and Elva C. (Wimer) McCullough. He had graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1972 and was a letterman with the Lincoln High School Marching Blue Band where he played the baritone. Following high school, Bob served as a Boy Scouts of America Junior Scout Master with the Moraine Trails Council. Bob worked at the Michael Baker Engineering Co. in Brighton Twp. as a draftsman, Veon Coal in Darlington, William A. Hazel Excavating Co., TA Ward in Bridgeville, and Graham Brothers Construction as a heavy equipment operator. In his earlier years, he enjoyed drag racing at Lernerville and Sunset dragstrips. He participated in local car shows where he showed his 1959 Impala. He also was a Cowboy Shooter and an avid hunter and fisherman.

Robert is survived by his wife, Patricia “Patty” (Popovich) whom he married on June 25, 1983, his sister, Lynda (Lance) Tanaka of Beaver Falls, and his nieces and nephews, Chad (Jami) Moffatt, Josalyn (Mark) DiFrischia, Sandra McCullough, Bobbi Jo Staib, Steven Staib, John, Ryan, and Kevin Popovich.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, David A. McCullough, and his nephew, Allen McCullough in infancy.

Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Services, and on Monday from 10:00 am until the time of the Service at 11:00 am at the Zion Baptist Church, 154 Currie Rd., Slippery Rock, PA 16057, with Rev. Tom Meling officiating. Interment will be at the Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in Robert’s name may be made to the Lincoln High School Marching Blue Band.
