Dorothy J. Hudson, 83

Mrs. Dorothy J. Hudson, 83, of Ellwood City passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at her residence.

Mrs. Hudson was born on January 30, 1935 in Hillsville to the late Domenico and Rena (Lanam) Greco.

Dorothy had numerous jobs in the Ellwood City area while her children were growing up.

She was most proud of being ” the Cookie Lady” at Art’s Mini Mart.

She is a long time member of the First United Methodist Church, where recently she has formed a very close relationship with her pastor, Rev. Angelique Bradford.

Dorothy enjoyed singing karaoke with her sister Betty, going to the casino, going to her daughters camp in Tidioute, and babysitting all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Her greatest joy was cooking, baking, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Lori (Robert) Mohr and Lisa (John) Lubich both of Ellwood City, her sons, Richard W. (Kim) Hudson III of Perry Twp. and Brian (Mary) Hudson Sr. of Ellwood City, her eleven grandchildren, Ben (Georgia) Mohr, Levon (Ashley) Hudson, Tynan (Samantha) Hudson, Jennifer Griffith, Camanin (Joel) Coleman, Karina (Ben) Blair, John Lubich (Sami Young), Brian Hudson, Jr., Bridget Hudson, Jarett Lubich, and Joey Hudson, and her twelve great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and Jeff Hand her sons friend whom she had a special relationship with.

Mrs. Hudson was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Richard W. Hudson, Jr. whom she married on March 29, 1957 and passed away on May 15, 1993, her grandson, Daniel J. Mohr, her sisters, Julia Mulig, Rose Greco, Mary Majors, Eleanor Lively, and Betty Olinger, and her brothers, Louis, Tony, and Joseph Greco, and two siblings in infancy.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 4-8 pm at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Services, and on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Angelique Bradford officiating.

Interment will follow at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery.

    Aunt Dorothy,

    You are truly missed by all of us that love you so much.

    I know in time that we will all be reunited with all of you, but until then know that we miss and love you all.
