According to a publish report and video, a regular at a local bar who didn’t want to leave at closing time opened fire overnight Tuesday at a Weisz’s Hazel Manor in Ellwood City. According to reports the patron refused to leave the establishment which led to a verbal confrontation with the bar owner.
With five people inside, including the owner, Michael Allen Henry, Jr., 26, of 185 Kindale Street pulled a 9mm gun out and put it on the bar. The bartender told everybody to run into a back room as police say he told Henry to leave.
According to the criminal complaint, Henry pointed the gun in the air and shot once before fleeing.
According to the published report, police now have a warrant out for his arrest.
“We are actively looking for him,” Court said. “We need to find him because, if he had a gun in the bar and shot it, he’s still got that gun and could shoot anywhere.”
Henry is facing one count each of persons not to possess a firearm, carrying a firearm without a license, recklessly endangering other persons and terroristic threats.
