Mr. Angelo M. Prestopine, 85

Mr. Angelo M. Prestopine, 85, of Ellwood City passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at his residence.

Mr. Prestopine was born on March 29, 1933 in Ellwood City to the late Michael J. and Gilda E. (Docchio) Prestopine. He had attended Lincoln High School and was a member of the Holy Redeemer parish. Angelo had worked at the Babcock & Wilcox Steel Mill in Beaver Falls for 37 years. An outdoors man, Angelo enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing the guitar. In 1965 he was the Ohio Valley Tri-County Archery Champion which he was very proud of.

Mr. Prestopine is survived by his daughter, Cheryl (Dane) Frederick of Warner, OH, his sons, Michael (Linda) Prestopine of New Castle, Mark (Kiley) Prestopine of New Castle, Dave Prestopine of New Middletown, OH, and Steven (Vicki) Prestopine of Wampum, his ten grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Joyce (James) Hackett of Wampum, and his brother, Richard (Beverly) Prestopine of Ellport.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 5-8 pm and on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of the Blessing Service at 11:00 am at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Services with Father Mark Thomas officiating. Entombment will follow at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Holy Redeemer Mausoleum.
