Linda G. Moczan, 60, It is with great sadness that the family of Linda Gene Moczan announces her passing after an extended illness, on Friday, May 25, 2018, at the age of 60 years. Linda was born on July 29, 1957 to Eugene and Mary Stiefel. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1975.
Linda will be affectionately remembered by her husband of 41 years, Joe, and her children, Kevin Moczan, and Amy (Gary) DeBlasio. Linda “Mema” will also be lovingly remembered by her three grandchildren, Brooklyn and Mya DeBlasio and Matthew Moczan and her sisters, Karen (Shep) Stiefel Harrison OF San Antonio, TX, and Kathy (Michael) Clark of Kingwood, TX. Linda was preceded in death by her mother Mary Eleanor Stiefel.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 10:00 am until the celebration of Linda’s life at 11:00 am at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Services, 309 Spring Ave., Ellwood City, Pa 16117, with Rev. Ray Madina officiating. Interment will be at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of Linda to the Lawrence County Human Society, 628 Pearson Mill Road, New Castle, Pa 16101.
Linda was a very special person, always smiling when she would see you in or outside of her home. She always took time to do what she could for others. Linda was one of the kindest, genuine and loving person I had ever met. Linda had a strong and heartfelt faith that could be seen in her glowing face. She will be missed, but to know she is now at peace is a true blessing that we all can only hope for. We were blessed to know and have her in our lives!
