Betty Anne Rassman, 83, of Perry Township, passed away at her residence on Thursday, November 2, 2017.
Born in Pittsburgh on October 11, 1934 Betty was the daughter of the late George F. and Emma A. Hein Asche. After graduating from West View High School, Betty worked at the Federal Reserve Bank and later as an assembler for Adams Manufacturing. Betty was a member of Unity Baptist Church of Harlansburg and the Beta Gradeles of Zelienople. An avid bowler, Betty also enjoyed being a farmer and had a love for horses her entire life. In her later years, Betty enjoyed going on bus trips with her girlfriends.
A loving mother and grandmother, Betty is survived by her children, Joseph T. and Madge Rassman, Jr of Downingtown, PA and Sheri L. Hoellein of Perry Twp. with whom she resided. 4 grandchildren, Ryan and Belinda Hoellein, Breanna Hoellein, Amara Hoellein and Alysa Hoellein, 2 great grandchildren, McKinley and R.J. Hoellein, a sister, Marilyn Deutschbauer of Pittsburgh and 2 brothers, George Asche of Fertigs, PA and James Asche of Butler.
A Memorial Service will be offered for Betty at Presbyterian Church of Portersville, 1297 Perry Hwy., Portersville on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 11 AM with Pastor Dana Opp.
Family suggests memorial contributions can be made in Betty’s name to Presbyterian Church of Portersville.
