Mr. Jimmie Bucci, 89, of Ellwood City passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at the Allegheny Valley Hospital following a motorcycle accident that he was involved in.
Mr. Bucci was born on September 8, 1927 in Ellwood City to the late Carmen and Carmella Buccelli Bucci. He had attended Lincoln High School and the Holy Redeemer Church. Jimmie had worked at the U.S. Steel Ellwood City plant in the mechanical department for 28 years. He also worked at H&H Truck Repair, Westgate Truck Stop, and Dennise Auto & Truck Repair on State Route 351. Jim was an avid Harley Davidson motorcycle enthusiast and was a long time member of H.O.G. ( Harley Davidson Owners Group). He also is a former member of the Ellwood City Police Auxiliary.
Jimmie is survived by his daughter Joanna Bucci of Lower Burrell, his sons Jimmie Bucci, Jr. of San Diego, CA and Thomas W. (Rhonda) Bucci of FL, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and his brother Lee Bucci of New Castle, along with many nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Anna Marie Fester Bucci whom he married on October 30, 1949 and passed away on July 31, 2010, his sisters, Josephine Angiolelli, Lucille Ferrante, Nora Deli, Angeline Bucci, Annie Shirilla, Elizabeth Telesy, and Marian Fusco, and his brothers Louie Bucci, Dominick Butch, Nicholas Bucci, John Butch, and Anthony Bucci.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 1:00 pm until the time of the Blessing Service at 4:00 pm in the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Services with Father Mark Thomas officiating. Inurnment will be at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
