Mr. Harry C. Boots, Jr., 79, of Ellwood City passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2017 at the Beaver Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Beaver Falls.
Mr. Boots was born in Ellwood City on July 17, 1937 to the late Harry and Rosalie Boots. He was a self employed eighteen wheeler. He also worked as a heavy equipment operator for several local companies. Harry also enjoyed farming, growing vegetables and flowers. He especially enjoyed cooking the fresh vegetables as well as fresh turkey and sausage.
Harry was a member of the Son of Italy, the VFW, the Hungarian Club, and the North Sewickley Saddle Club where he won several awards.
Harry is survived by his son Daniel Boots and two grandsons, Cameron Boots and Austin Boots. He also has two step-children Laurel and Timothy Fleshman. Harry has two sisters, Sue (Joseph) Condino of Niagra Falls, NY, and Virginia Korn of Ellwood City, and a brother Albert Boots of Ellwood City.
Family and friends will be received on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm and on Saturday from 11:00 am until the time of the service at Noon in the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Services.
Pastor Chris Korn will officiate. Interment will follow at the North Sewickley Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Harry’s name may be made to the Beaver Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 207 Georgetown Rd., Beaver Falls, Pa.
