Emma F. Naticchioni, 91

Mrs. Emma F. Naticchioni, 91, of Ellwood City passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2017 in the UPMC Shadyside Hospital. Mrs. Naticchioni was born on January 20, 1926 in Ellwood City to the late Eutimio and Caroline Lanza Mancini.

She is a member of the Lincoln High School class of 1944, and the Holy Redeemer Parish. Emma had worked at the U.S. Steel Ellwood City plant in the payroll bureau and accounting department from January of 1945 until November of 1948. For many years she and her husband Earl volunteered with the Meals on Wheels program. While her children where in Catholic School she served as Secretary for the PTG, and volunteered in the schools cafeteria for 15 years. She enjoyed reading, gardening, sewing, knitting, and crocheting.

Mrs. Naticchioni is survived by her daughters, Carolyne (Brian) Holupka of Oakmont, and Marilyn (Dennis) Bayer of Peters Twp., her son, Anthony F. (Diana) Naticchioni of Clearmont, FL, her grandchildren, Emily (Jacob) Halle, Kelly Holupka, Olivia Bayer, and Lindsay Bayer, and her great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Isaiah, and Samuel Halle. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Josephine Mancini, and Ruth Mancini, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Earl “Aurelio” Naticchioni whom she married on July 31, 1948 and passed away on August 20, 2003, and her brothers, Fred, Henry, and Joseph Mancini.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 3-7 pm in the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremation Services. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday at 10:00 am in the Holy Redeemer Church with Father Samuel Esposito officiating. Entombment will follow at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Resurrection Mausoleum. Those attending the funeral mass are asked to meet at the funeral home on Saturday by 9:20 am. Memorial contributions in Mrs. Naticchioni’s name may be made to the Ellwood City Area Public Library.
