Lori D. Lightner, 64, of New Castle passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. She was the daughter of the late Carl and Ruth (Peffer) French and was born July 31,1962 in Ellwood City.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Jim Lightner, her children; Keria Hedrick and her husband Brady of Tennessee, Jedidiah Jenkins of New Castle, James Lightner, Jr of New Castle, her grandchildren; Geoffrey Snouffer, Michael Snouffer, Mackenzie Hederick, and Lance Bacala,
Lori was born and raised in Ellwood City and was a 1980 graduate of Lincoln High School. She enjoyed traveling especially her trip to the Bahamas. She enjoyed crocheting. She met her husband Jim in 2001 at the Dairy Queen in Niles, OH. They married October 12, 2003. They enjoyed going to flea markets and traveling. She especially enjoyed spending time with her friend Marianna and going to craft stores. Lori was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
She was preceded in death by her grandson; Maverick Hedrick.
