Brian D. Moyer, 65, of Ellwood City passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 25, 2026 at his residence.
Born April 30, 1961 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Walter and Mary Pappas Moyer.
Brian worked as a glass window maker at Traco for 20 years and then at Alcoa until his retirement. He enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles and working on cars. An animal lover, he kept a “small zoo” at his house with two fish tanks, snakes, turtles, and his three dogs. Most of all, he loved his family and cherished spending time with his children and grandsons, who were his pride and joy.
Survivors include two sons, Brian “B.J.” (Amber Klein) Moyer II and Harley Moyer; daughter, Kimberly “Kimmy” (Zach) Gallaher all of Ellwood City; two grandsons, Dylan Klein and Alex Gallaher; six sisters, Margaret Badger of Wampum, Jean Moyer of East Palestine, OH, Sally Bennethum of Dayton, OH, Helen Mort of Berlin, PA, Noreen (Donald) Peffer Jr. of Chambersburg, PA, and Melanie Quinn of Wampum; four brothers, John Moyer of Wampum, Edward (Robin) Moyer of St. Marys, GA, James (Laura) Moyer of Plymouth, MN, and Thomas (Linda) Moyer of Shippensburg, PA.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Alan “Crab” Moyer; sister, Mary Rose Moyer; and in-laws, Lee Anne Moyer, Richard Badger, Edward Bennethum, and James Quinn.
A graveside service will be held at Slippery Rock Church Cemetery.
