Honey Jo McKeough, 84, of Ellwood City passed away at Quality Life Serices in New Castle. She was the daughter of the late James and Evelyn (Wright) McKeough and she was born June 6, 1941, in Ellwood City.
She is survived by her brother; Gary McKeough and his wife Betty of Ellwood City, and one sister-in-law; Elizabeth McKeough.
Honey was a 1959 graduate of Lincoln High School. She also had perfect school attendance for her entire school area from 1st to 12th grade. After graduation, she worked at J. C. Murphys after she graduated high school. She worked for Christy’s grocery store, Fischer’s Big Wheel Department Store and finally she was employed at Walmart. She also enjoyed shopping. Honey was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend to all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her siblings; Don McKeough and his wife Thelma, Sue Hockenberry and her husbnad Gerald, Martha Fisher and her husband Harry, Tom and Nancy McKeough, Ruth Ann Boots and her husband Harry, Charles McKeough, and Dennis McKeough
The Family will receive friends on Thursday, May 14, 2026 from 3:00pm-6:00PM with a Funeral Service beginning at 6:00pm at Turner-Hyde Funeral Home in Ellwood City.
Interment will be in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park in Rochester
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorial donations, in Honey’s name to the Riverview Country Chapel at 105 Riverview Street Ellwood City, PA 16117.
