Ellwood City Public Library Activities For Week of April 27th

The Ellwood City Area Public Library offers a variety of weekly activities. Information is available by calling the library at 724-758-6458.

HOURS

Hours are Monday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Please remember no one is available to take your calls unless it is in the hours listed above.

Activities taking place this week include.

MONDAY, APRIL 27

  • 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.

TUESDAY, APRIL 28

  • 10:30 a.m. – “Morning Storytime,” for children to interact with stories and songs.
  • 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
  • 6:00 p.m. – “Board Meeting”

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 29

  • 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
  • 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. – “Tween and Teen After School Club,” come and socialize and do activities while eating a snack.

THURSDAY, APRIL 30

  • 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.

FRIDAY, MAY 1

  • 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. – “Coloring for Adults,” bring your own supplies or use ours.
  • 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. – “Adult Knitting Group,” work on your own individual projects while socializing with other knitters.

SATURDAY, MAY 2

  • 9:00 a.m. –“Reading Buddies,” come and read to the dogs.
  • 9:30 a.m. – “Little Librarians,” K-2 grade levels can learn what it means to work in a library.
  • 10:30 a.m. – “Pokemon Club,” grades k-and up get together to battle and trade cards.
  • 11:45 a.m. – “Choose Your Own Book Club,” 3-5 grade choose their own book then do a planned activity while eating snacks.
  • 1:45 p.m. – “Teen Cooking Club,” 7-12 grade learn to make easy snacks and meals.
  • 2:30 p.m. – “Books, Thoughts, and Snacks,” 6-12 grade pick their own books then complete book journaling while eating a snack.
