Addison Drake hit a go-ahead two run homerun in the fifth inning to power the Panthers to a 3-2 victory over Shenango Monday afternoon at Riverside.
Senior pitcher Joci Cummings pitched 6.1 innings allowing two runs, striking out four while only issuing one walk. Ayla Sterner secured the last two outs for the Panthers who improve to 3-2 on the regular season.

Shenango pitcher Kennedy Lynn pitched 5.0 innings. 2 ER. 4 K’s. 0 BB. Wildcat hitters Herb & Z.Offie were 3-4 & 2-4 respectively at the plate. Z.Offie had a double.
The Lady Panthers will next travel to play New Brighton on Friday, April 17th at 4:00 p.m.
MOHAWK 7 ELLWOOD CITY 1
The Lady Wolverines were felled by seven errors on the diamond Monday afternoon and fell to Mohawk 7-1 in section play.
Amber McQuiston collected two hits and went the distance on the mound for Ellwood City in defeat.
The Wolverines softball team (2-4 Overall) next play Avonworth on Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m.
