Mary K. Carsele, 94, of Ellwood City passed away at her residence on Friday, January 30, 2026.
Born in Ellwood City on June 5, 1931, Mary was the daughter of the late Frank and Filimena Monica Del Boverlando. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Carsele, Jr. on March 20, 2019. They were married on January 27, 1951. Mary was a member of Divine Grace Parish, Holy Redeemer Church. She had worked at Shenango Pottery and later worked with her brother and sister-in-law at Ellwood Florist and later Jean’s Flower Shop. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family.
Mary is survived by her 3 children, James and Toni Carsele, III of Chicago, Linda Seaburn of Ellwood City and Karen and Tom Browne of Myrtle Beach, 6 grandchildren, Erin Fironi, Christopher and Samantha Seaburn, Kevin Carsele, Brian and Michelle Seaburn, Brooke Seaburn and fiancée Ethan Buzard and Derek McClymonds, 5 great grandchildren, Julianna Fironi, Bentley Seaburn, Gabrielle Seaburn, Elyse Fironi and Cole Seaburn and a sister-in-law, Sr. Mary Esther Carsele.
Besides her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Carsele, son-in-law, Albert Seaburn and a brother, Pete Del Boverlando.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered for Mary at Holy Redeemer Church on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. by Fr. James Wehner.
Entombment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Avenue, Ellport.
