POLICE: Weekly Police Blotter

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF:
On September 28th the Beaver Patrol Unit received a report that several vehicles were damaged at approximately 4:00 a.m with stones and tomatoes. The incident was reported to take place on and near Plumb Street in Darlington Borough. The only evidence currently available is a Cab Pickup Truck on several home cameras, according to a criminal complaint. If anyone has any information please call PSP Beaver at 724-773-7400.

FAILURE TO PROVIDE ACCURATE REGISTRATION INFO:
Anthony Black, 25, of New Castle, is charged with Failure to Provide Accurate Registration Information after an incident reported October 27th. According to a criminal complaint, police received information that Black, a registered sex offender, was residing at a different address than reported to the Megan’s Law Unit and, according to the information provided, Black was residing with a sixteen-year-old high school student. After arriving at the residence in New Galilee, PA, on October 28th, police spoke with the sixteen-year-old’s step-grandfather who advised he knew Black as the juveniles boyfriend and that Black had been staying at the residence for approximately three months, sharing a room with his twelve-year-old grandson, according to the complaint.  Police investigators and parole agents verified Black has not been employed since August 2025 and has not updated his current employment since April 2025.

DUI:
Debra Johnson, 61, of New Castle is charged with DUI after a traffic stop on September 20th at approximately 3:04p.m. Police made contact with Johnson with a traffic stop on Canal Street, Wayne Township and observed several signs of impairment while speaking with her about her suspended license. Officers requested to search the vehicle and found “mini shots” in the vehicle. Johnson was placed under arrest on suspicion of Driving under the Influence, according to a criminal complaint.

DUI:
Michelle Fabich, 51, of Wampum, is charged with DUI after a one vehicle accident reported on September 19th. According to a criminal complaint, and at approximately 8:10 p.m., police were called to the area of River Road in Wayne Township for an accident and made contact with Fabich who was observed her to be intoxicated. A witness related to police he observed the vehicle go completely off the roadway and up an embankment before the operator crawl out of the vehicle and ask for a ride to Chewton. Fabich was transported to a nearby hospital, though refused the blood test, according to the complaint.

DUI:
Albert Boyd, 51, of Erie is charged with DUI after a traffic stop occurring on May 19th. According to a criminal complaint, and at approximately 11:35 p.m., police made contact with Boyd after a traffic stop for speeding and nearly hitting a roadside reflector on Route 19 in Slippery Rock Township.  Police observed a bag of marijuana which Boyd had surrendered to the officer. Boyd was transferred to a nearby hospital for a blood test according to a the complaint.
