Jaxon Rozanski posted an even round 72 Tuesday morning to lead a host of three Ellwood City golfers who qualified at the section qualifiers held at Sylvan Heights Golf Course.
For his efforts, Rozanski finished 2nd overall in a field of 38 golfers.
Joining Rozanski in qualifying were Jordan Keller (+1-73, 3rd Overall) and Gino Biondi (+8-80, T8) at the par-72 course.
Riverside golf Tyler Holsinger (+9-81, T11) was among a host of qualifiers to make the cutoff score of 81. Fourteen total golfers from Class 2A Section 5 qualified and will advance in the WPIAL Individual Championships later this month.
Laurel Spartan golfer Eli Bintrim finished atop the leaderboard Tuesday with a 4-under round of 68.

Ellwood City has two section matches remaining on their schedule this week before turning their focus to WPIAL Championships and Invitationals. The Wolverines are currently 13-1 on the regular season. The Riverside boys golf team holds a 3-7 regular season mark in Class 2A-Section 5.
