Patricia A. D’Ambrosio, 81

Mrs. Patricia A. D’Ambrosio, 81, of Ellwood City passed away on Thursday, August 21st, 2025 at the UPMC Jameson Hospital in New Castle.

Mrs. D’Ambrosio is the daughter of the late Delmar A. and Alberta (Wigton) Wiley Sr. born in Ellwood City on December 25th, 1943. She had graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1962. On August 31st, 1963 Patty married the love of her life Raymond D’Ambrosio. She had worked and retired from Wesco in both New Brighton and Youngstown. She is a member of the Divine Grace Parish, Holy Redeemer Church and the Holy Redeemer Christian Mothers and was a volunteer at the annual church bazaar where she helped make pepperoni puffs alongside her husband. In the mid 1970’s Patty co-founded the Girls Youth Softball Little Angels league, and was a volunteer for the former St. Agatha Food Pantry and the Meals-on-Wheels program.

She is survived by her husband Ray, daughters and sons-in-law, Tamra and Ron Crider of Prospect and Tricia and Sean Reese of Ellwood City, grandchildren, Dominick Krider, Aaron Krider, Olivia Reese, Simon Reese, Matthew Reese, and Emma Reese, sister, Lana Wiley of Ellwood City, and her brother, Delmar and his wife Marcia Wiley Jr. of North Sewickley Township.

Patty was preceded in death by her parents, daughters, Tonya Rae D’Ambrosio and Laura Lynn D’Ambrosio both ion infancy, and her sister, Mardel Hartzel.

Visitation will be held on Monday from 5-8 pm and again on Tuesday from 9:30 -10:00 am at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc.. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 am at Divine Grace Parish Holy Redeemer Church with Father James Wehner officiating. Interment will follow at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery. Members of the Holy Redeemer Christian Mothers are asked to meet at the church on Tuesday by 10:20 am to form an honor guard.
