Amelie Umurerwa, 24, of Pittsburgh and formerly of Kigali City, Rwanda died on August 12, 2025, in Pittsburgh. She was the daughter of Christophe Uwiringiyimana and Sylvie Mujawayezu and was born September 27, 2000, in Kigali, Rwanda in Africa.
Amelie moved to Pittsburgh in 2020 to study nursing and she was currently in nursing school. She was also employed as a Nurse’s Assistant in Pittsburgh. Amelie was a loving and caring person who loved her family and friends deeply. She was a dedicated student and looked forward to being a Registered Nurse, upon her graduation.
She was predeceased by all her grandparents.
Her Funeral Services will be held in her hometown of Kigali City in Rwanda
Interment will be in Rusororo Cemetery in Kigali City.
