Ellwood City Public Library Activities For Week Of August 11th

The Ellwood City Area Public Library offers a variety of weekly activities. Information is available by calling the library at 724-758-6458.

HOURS

Hours are Monday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Please remember no one is available to take your calls unless it is in the hours listed above.

NOTE

The Library is taking books for the book sale.

Activities taking place this week include.

MONDAY, AUGUST 11

• 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
• 1:00 p.m. – “Afternoon Book Group for Adults,” will be discussing the book “The Dog Stars” by Peter Heller.

TUESDAY, AUGUST 12

• 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
• 1:00 p.m. – “Lego Club,” come and build with our Legos.
• 7:00 p.m. – “Twenty-Something Book Group,” will be discussing the book “Starling House” by Alix E. Harrow on Zoom.

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 13

• 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
• 1:00 p.m. – “Art Club,” come and make crafts and art projects.

THURSDAY, AUGUST 14

• 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – “Interactive Play,” children can play hands-on with various items.
• Noon- “Bookworms Book Group,” will be discussing the book “Dogman the Scarlet Shedder” by Dav Pilkey.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 15

• 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. – “Adult Coloring,” relax and color with our coloring supplies or your own.
• 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. – “Adult Knitting Group,” come and work on your own individual projects.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 16

• 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. – “Wine Walk,” join us on Lawrence Ave. for some wine, craft beer and distilleries. Food options available at local restaurants and food trucks.
