Mrs. Delores F. Miles, 75, of Homewood passed away peacefully at her residence on Tuesday, July 22nd, 2025.
Mrs. Miles was born the daughter of the late Joseph and Olive (Simmons) Shutack on August 17th, 1949 in Beaver Falls. She had graduated from Beaver Falls High School with the class of 1967. For 25 years Delores worked as a certified nurses aide at Friendship Ridge Nursing Center in Beaver. She is a longtime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the New Galilee VFW Post 8106. Delores enjoyed camping, watching Wheel Of Fortune, and scratch off tickets.
She is survived by her two daughters, Lisa Hayden of Monroeville and Yvonne Miles and her significant other Ron Painter of Tarentum, her son, Skip Miles of Koppel, grandchildren, Alyssa, Anthony, Justin, Joshua, Chelsey, Jeremy, and Aiden, sister, Lila Hedlund of New Castle, brothers, Charles “Butch” Shutack of Darlington, and David “Ref” Shutack of New Castle, and her beloved dog ,Tippy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Richard L. Miles Jr. whom she married on June 11th, 1974 and passed away on February 21st, 2017, her sisters, Linda Dixon and Julie Amos, and her brother, Joseph Shutack Jr..
Family and friends will be received on Saturday, July 26th, 2025 from 11:00 am until the time of the Memorial Service at 1:00 pm at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. with Charles Shutack officiating.
