Mayor Anthony J. Court presented the 5th Beautification Award to David and Susan Verone of 2 Second Street, honoring their dedication to enhancing Ellwood City’s charm and livability.
“It’s a pleasure to present this award to residents who take such pride in their properties and David and Susan exemplify that perfectly,” said Mayor Court. “Congratulations to them for their outstanding efforts!”
As part of their recognition, the Verone’s received a yard sign to proudly display and a gift certificate of a local restaurant.
With just one more award still to be announced, the Beautification Program continues its mission of celebrating community pride and hard work. Nominations remain open and can be submitted at the Mayor’s Office in the Municipal Building on Lawrence Avenue, or by calling Mayor Court directly at 724-824-7629.
