Annual Memorial Day Parade Set For Monday

Monday will be a day to honor those who gave their lives in service to our country.

Ellwood City will host its annual Memorial Day Parade, Ceremony, and Community Picnic beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Here’s what’s happening:

Parade – 10:00 AM The parade begins at 10 AM, crossing the Veterans Memorial Bridge, where we’ll pause at the center for a tribute to those lost at sea. From there, the procession moves up 5th Street, turning right onto Crescent Ave, right on 8th Street, right on Lawrence Ave, left on 5th Street at the light, and right on Spring Ave, concluding at Legion Park.

Ceremony at Legion Park – A tribute to our fallen heroes immediately follows the parade.

Picnic at Pittsburgh Circle Heritage Park – After the ceremony, gather at Pittsburgh Circle Heritage Park for free hot dogs (while supplies last)

Businesses, organizations, school groups, and families will participate and walk in the parade. More are welcome crowd the streets and enjoy the parade, ceremony and picnic.
