PART TWO: Lincoln High School’s Production of Seussical Cast Q&A

The Lincoln High School Musical Theater will present the musical, Seussical March 28-30th in the high school auditorium. Under the direction of Rick Hudson, this musical is based on the Dr. Seuss storybook series.

Seussical the Musical is a whimsical and colorful musical that brings to life the fantastical worlds of Dr. Seuss. At its heart, the story follows Horton the Elephant, who discovers a tiny world of creatures living on a speck of dust and vows to protect them, despite being ridiculed. Alongside him is the mischievous Cat in the Hat, who narrates the tale, while characters like Gertrude McFuzz, Yertle the Turtle, and the Whos add depth to the vibrant narrative. Themes of loyalty, hope, and the importance of believing in the impossible shine through, as the characters learn to stand up for what they believe in and the power of imagination. With catchy songs and creative visuals, Seussical is a celebration of Seuss’s timeless stories and the belief that “a person’s a person, no matter how small.”

We caught up with some of the leads in the show for a cast Q&A. Today’s Q&A is PART TWO in a three-part series about Seussical. Featured tomorrow will be part three, a review of the show and gallery of show photos. [VIEW PART ONE]
